Worship Service

I am not really a church goer. If someone were to ask me of what I prefer to do on a Sunday, I would probably answer “Sleep”. I always tend to sleep all day long during a Sunday. I only go to church for once or twice in a month. Even though I am not that active at going to church, I tend to make up to the Lord by communicating to Him thru ways of praying to the Lord solemnly, reading the bible, and especially by having faith in Him and by believing in His words and gospels.
When I’ve learned that we are in need to attend a worship service to accomplish our project in English and CE, I was like “How am I supposed to write about this thing, I don’t even go to church.” When I’ve learned about it, I’ve thought of inventing a “make-up” mass that I’ve attended. But I think that it would be very ironic if I were to do that because the subject was about the Lord who taught us that we should commit sin while what I would be doing will be a great big lie. I would not just cheat on the subject but I would also cheat on the Lord our father.
Even though I woke up late during the faithful Sunday of October 6, I tend to attend the afternoon mass. I felt very happy that I’ve attended the mass because the mass helped me to become closer to our Father. I feel good listening to the song of praise to the Lord and to the homily that our priest talked about. The Homily was about family. The priest told that we should be close to our family because they are the ones who we can truly count on. We should love our families because they are always there for us. They are always there to guide and nourish us. The homily isn’t just about our biological family. What the homily was really saying is that we should be closer to our great, powerful father, God, because God will always be there for us. He will always be there to guide, nourish, and help us, in good times and in bad.
I was really grateful that I’ve attended the Mass. This helped me realized that I should look on to a better relationship with the Lord. This activity made me realized that I should be more active in our church and to our Lord. The experience was really great and I am happy that we had an activity/task like this, an activity/task that would help us students to be closer to our Father,  an activity that can be a way for us to communicate better to the Lord.
